Emily hails from Pekin, Illinois by way of Ely, UK and heads up mad&bad pictures.

Her journey behind the camera started when she discovered the joy of collaboration with a passionate group of Cambridge filmmakers, producing a number of short films for festivals and fun. The experiences gained managing these low budgets make for some great bar stool stories, and built the foundation of her career.

She moved into features & tv, and has coordinated projects from development through to post-production. Her time in these roles brought with it a great sense of fulfilment and now, utilising these skills in combo with her love of story-telling, mad&bad have an eclectic mix of projects bubbling to the surface.​
